The Eventuri carbon fibre intake system for the Volkswagen Golf 8 R and Golf 8 GTI Clubsport is engineered to maximise airflow to the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen.4 engine's turbocharger, improving throttle response, induction sound and overall vehicle performance.
Based on the patented Eventuri Venturi Housing technology, the system uses a carbon fibre airbox designed to reduce turbulence and create a more efficient airflow path than the factory intake. The fully sealed design keeps intake air temperatures low, ensuring consistent performance even under the most demanding operating conditions.
The kit completely replaces the factory intake system up to the turbocharger inlet. The enlarged 94 mm intake tube, full-width carbon fibre air duct and high-flow dry cone filter work together to deliver substantially greater airflow than the OEM system.
Manufactured from 100% prepreg carbon fibre, with no fibreglass, it features an exceptionally smooth internal surface that promotes laminar airflow and maximises system efficiency. Installation is completely plug & play, using the vehicle's original mounting points with no permanent modifications required.
In testing, the system delivered power gains of up to 12 hp and 15 Nm on standard vehicles and up to 20 hp and 30 Nm on tuned vehicles, together with a noticeable improvement in power delivery and induction sound.
