Manufactured from high-carbon, silicon-rich cast iron (High Carbon Cast Iron), BSD discs provide exceptional thermal conductivity and excellent resistance to mechanical stress and heat cracking. Their distinctive directional fin- or blade-shaped groove design (Blade Slot) rapidly evacuates gases, water and friction dust from the contact surface, preventing pad glazing and maintaining maximum bite. Compared with conventional straight slots, the blade profile also provides significantly quieter operation and greater acoustic comfort.
Supplied as a pair (front left and right), they directly replace the factory discs and are fully compatible with the original brake calipers without modifications.
