EBC Brakes Turbo Groove GD (Grooved & Dimple Drilled) front brake discs are the ideal upgrade for high-performance VAG sports cars, hot hatches and SUVs (Audi S3/TTS, Cupra Ateca/Formentor, SEAT Leon Cupra, Škoda Octavia RS/Kodiaq RS, VW Golf GTI/R/Tiguan R). Developed for maximum stopping power, superior heat dissipation and unmistakable sporting style, they provide precise, consistent braking during both dynamic road driving and high-stress use.
The defining feature of the GD range is its combination of curved spiral slots and blind dimples (Dimple Drilled). Unlike conventional through-drilled discs, which can develop heat cracks around the holes under severe loads, EBC's blind dimples evacuate pad-outgassing and moisture without compromising the structural integrity of the cast iron. The curved slots continuously clean the pad surface, removing glazing residue and maintaining responsive initial bite while significantly reducing the risk of fade.
Manufactured from special thermally stable cast iron, they are supplied as a pair (front left and right) and directly replace the factory 340 mm discs, retaining perfect compatibility with the original brake calipers with no modifications.
