EBC Brakes Turbo Groove GD (Grooved & Dimple Drilled) rear brake discs are the ideal upgrade for VAG Group vehicles including the Audi TT, Skoda Kodiaq, Skoda Superb, VW Arteon, VW Golf GTI and VW Caddy. Developed to deliver maximum thermal stability, braking efficiency and an aggressive appearance, they provide responsive, consistent deceleration in both everyday road driving and performance use.
The defining feature of the GD range is its combination of curved spiral grooves and blind dimples (Dimple Drilled). Unlike conventional through-drilled discs, which can develop thermal cracks around the holes under severe stress, EBC's blind dimples evacuate pad outgassing and moisture without weakening the disc structure. Curved slots continuously clean the pad's friction surface, removing glazing and effectively preventing brake fade.
Manufactured from special cast iron with high thermal stability, the discs are supplied as a pair (left and right rear axle). Their solid 300 mm construction directly replaces the original discs, ensuring perfect compatibility with OEM brake calipers without modifications.
