EBC – SG2251 - SG Grooved Brake Discs – REAR

EBC Brakes SG Series rear brake discs are designed to match perfectly, both visually and in performance, with SG Grooved two-piece floating front discs. They are the ideal upgrade for the Toyota GR Yaris (XP210), providing excellent cooling and optimised heat dissipation for fast road and track-day use.

Their distinctive swept surface grooves (Swept Groove / SG) perform a vital function under heavy loads by rapidly releasing pad-outgassing and effectively clearing water, dust and friction debris from the braking surface. This promotes flat, parallel pad wear, maintains constant pad-to-disc contact and prevents grooves or surface irregularities.

Every disc is precision balanced and individually checked for runout (100% inspection of each one-piece disc) to ensure vibration- and distortion-free operation from initial installation. The special Thermic Black finish protects non-contact areas against corrosion and rust, retaining a clean, refined appearance behind the wheel.

Supplied as a pair for the rear axle, they directly replace the factory discs for Plug & Play installation with no modifications.

Note

Always install new brake pads when replacing the discs and bed the components in gently over the first few miles, avoiding heavy braking until they are fully conditioned.
