The Bilstein B16 PSS10 height-adjustable coilover kit is the benchmark for drivers seeking maximum performance, adjustable damping and impeccable chassis control for VAG vehicles (Audi A3 8V and Volkswagen Golf 7 / Golf 7 Variant) equipped with a 50 mm front strut clamp and multilink rear axle (IRS). Designed and tested both on the road and on demanding circuits such as the Nürburgring, it allows adjustment from a comfortable road setup to an extremely responsive setting for sporting use.
The key strength of the Bilstein B16 PSS10 series is its combined damping adjustment: a convenient hand-operated adjuster with 10 clearly defined clicks (10-click) varies rebound and compression damping together and in sync. Ride height is freely adjustable through continuous threading on the damper body, providing an approximate lowering range of 30 mm to 50 mm on both axles for an aggressive stance and precise wheel-to-arch alignment.
The system uses proven high-pressure gas monotube technology (Bilstein Monotube), combined with a highly rust- and corrosion-resistant Triple-C-Technology surface treatment, round threads for easy adjustment over time, and spring perches/adjuster rings made from a special high-strength aluminium alloy.
