The Bilstein B16 PSS10 height-adjustable coilover kit represents the ultimate in performance, versatility and chassis control for MQB-platform VAG vehicles (Audi A3 8V, S3 8V, RS3 8V, VW Golf 7 GTI / R / GTD / GTE / Alltrack and VW Arteon) equipped with a 55 mm front strut clamp and multilink rear axle. Developed and tested both on the road and track by Bilstein test drivers under the demanding conditions of the Nürburgring, it allows quick adjustment from a comfortable road setting to an extremely responsive track setup.
The key strength of the Bilstein B16 PSS10 kit is its combined damping adjustment: a single adjuster with 10 clearly defined clicks (10-click) varies rebound and compression damping together in a coordinated manner. Ride height is widely adjustable through continuous threading on the damper body, providing an approximate lowering range of 30 mm to 50 mm (15–35 mm on sports models already lowered as standard) and allowing precise wheel-to-arch alignment.
Built using renowned high-pressure gas monotube technology (Bilstein Monotube), the kit delivers immediate response and consistent damping performance. Its construction features a highly corrosion-resistant Triple-C-Technology surface treatment, together with spring perches and lock rings made from a special ultra-high-strength aerospace-grade aluminium alloy.
